Citing Sources

Annotated bibliographies

An annotated bibliography is simply a bibliography in which each of the citations is followed by a description of the source. In the following examples, the same source is cited using different citation styles.

The titles in these examples are italicized so as not to be confused with hot links, which appear underlined on the Web. In your term papers, titles of books or journals should be underlined where required by a citation style.
