How to select a citation style

1. If your thesis advisor has requested that a particular style be used, then use it.
2. If you thesis advisor has not identified a particular style, ask if he has a preference.
3. If your thesis advisor has no preference, use a citation style that is universally accepted (e.g., APA or MLA style).
